  • recognized as one of the most beautiful flowers of the genus and parent of the first Cymbidium hybrid and still used extensively for hybridization, the bulbs of this plant grow indeterminately for several years having many 15` to 17` leaves, multiple erect single-flowered inflorescences each producing a long lasting lavender-scented 4` pure white cuppy bloom with well-rounded sepals and petals offset a bright yellow pubescent callus in the lip.
