An absolutely incredible plant, a true blue orchid, this rare monopodial has narrow 4` to 8` semi-terrete leaves staggered about 1` apart along an erect rarely branching stem, eventually becoming pendant with age, very short spikes bear clusters of up to 15 flowers, the ½` wide blooms have been described as aquamarine blue, translucent Cambridge blue, but regardless it’s blue as opposed all those `coerulea` things out there, blue ovary, blue nectary, blue petals, blue sepals, dark indigo blue patch on the otherwise blue lip, and a white (sorry) pollenia cap
