  • the `Parrot`s Tongue` Bulbophyllum produces 1½` wrinkly pseudobulbs on a short rambling rhizome, each bears a single 4` dark green oval leaf, 2` roundish blooms are a beautiful creamy yellow color with a faint purple reticulated spotting pattern on the inside and usually appear singly on relatively short spikes; hinged lip resembles the color of fresh cherries and has the shape of a parrot`s tongue, hence the name. Can be heard at times saying - polly want a cracker
