  • this delightful miniature species is exotically beautiful in both foliage and blooms; rambling rhizome produces new growths that are bright green with zigzag bands of pale maroon spotting, growths become darker in color with age but retain a 3` ovate leaf on their wrinkled 1` pseudobulbs; 4` long flowers appear in opposing fours on 6` long spikes and are a bright reddish purple and have an extremely unusual shape, with sepals dangling beneath a complex column/lip structure like thin ribbons that flutter in the slightest breeze; flowers several times per year
