a very rare Madagascan beauty with a fantastic flower, quadrangular bulbs up to 4` tall topped with several bluish green leathery 16` leaves, arching 20` spikes carry laxly spaced glossy flowers, long-lasting 2-1/2` blooms are reminiscent of a Lycaste in shape, varnished sepals are gold with heavy wine red markings, smaller petals are white tipped with red, lip is white with red stripes
