an excellent representative of this monotipic genus allied to Oncidium, charming plant with cigar-shaped 4` bulbs topped with 1 or 2 stiff glossy 5` leaves, basal spikes up to 24` long are strongly pendant and heavily branched towards the tips producing a dense swarm of yellow 1` flowers, sepals and petals are greenish-yellow traversed with light brown bars, tubular lip is brilliant yellow with a deep crimson apical lobe, easy grower and a great display.
