this genus contains the largest orchid known (over 2000 lbs., bulbs and leaves are 15` tall) although the two species represented here are of much more modest size, 6` pseudobulbs with wide glossy 24` leaves, impressive arching spikes up to 6 ft. bearing up to 50 blooms each, lovely 4` flowers are olive green with chocolate blotches and yellow edges, lip is pale yellow with brown margins, easy warm grower
