marvelous twig epiphyte with pencil-like 1` pseudobulbs topped with a broad dark leathery 5` leaf, thin wiry white roots aggressively wrap around its stick, arching branched spikes 12` to 24` arise from the base of the new growths, awesome 2` flowers are arranged rank-and-file on the spikes, sepals and petals are pink with dark rose and purple spotting, the very large flat lip is lavender/pink with dark purple striations and spotting, nectary spur is 2` long
