Absolutely fabulous, this Maxillaria has extremely attractive flowers and foliage, each fan-shaped growth has 2 to 3 long-petioled spatulate 14` leaves; plants yields a massive bounty of single-flowered spikes carrying 5` blooms which have beautifully curved spreading slender lateral sepals and a delicate forward leaning dorsal sepal framed on either side by gently forward-sweeping lateral petals; the color is white (with an occasional red blotch), turning to bright yellow towards the tips of the tepals with a bright orange lip and anther cap
