Very handsome species with clustering 4" bulbs surrounded and topped by 8" to 10" leaves, each bulb will produce 2 - 4 arching infloresences each carrying upwards of 25 attractively spaced spaced flowers, the 2 1/2" open blooms have yellow lanceolate petals and sepals heavily overlaid with rich chestnut brown blotches, long tapering lip has a raised callus forming a fan of red fingerlike projections against a yellow and brown backdrop
