a medium-sized epiphyte from the Nigrohirsutae section of dendrobiums, D. formosum has a very large and stately flower that is pure white with contrasting yellow-orange markings in the center of the lip; this is definitely the kind of plant that orchid judges like, and is ideal for anyone who loves fragrant and large (up to 4`) blooms but doesn’t have a lot of space; very easy grower
