a beautiful and unique example of this floriferous genus, flattened 1" pseudobulbs are topped with a narrow leaf, multiple short spikes with 3 to 5 blooms form dense clusters around the base of the bulbs, very glossy 1-1/2" wide-open flowers are rich chestnut brown picoteed with pale yellow on the sepals and petals, a bold red band crosses the flared white lip and folded side lobes, prolific bloomer.
