this is the real thing, the rare and spectacular cyanea, clumping mid-sized pleuro with radiating petioles and 5" somewhat folded heart-shaped bluish-green leaves; repeated flushes of blooms appear throughout the spring, the 3/4" flowers appear in dense clusters resting on the leaf and have spreading tapering cream-colored petals, the fused lateral round sepals are deeply concave and rich wine red, large cream-colored dorsal sepal has a crusty cake frosting texture
