Neat plant with a fantastic flower, nickle-sized globular bulbs grow closely on a freely branching rhizome, each topped with a single 3" - 5" longitudinally veined leaf, a single flowered inflorescence carries a very fuzzy bud commonly used as a Q-tip, which left unmolested opens into a gorgeous non-resupinate 1 1/2" flower the spreading sepals and petals are creamy white to blush with red striations intensifying towards the center, the thick calloused lip is yellow with red side lobes
