very pretty and floriferous, compact clumping plant 1-1/2" bulbs topped with a single lanceolate 10" leaf; short inflorescences produce an attractive 1-1/4" lovely lavender flower with spreading lateral sepals, while dorsal sepal and petals form a hood over the column and bright orange lip.
