spectacular spring display, thin strongly pendulous deciduous canes reach up to 3 ft., dull greenish-purple 3` leaves become deciduous in fall, fragile flowers grouped in two`s and three`s sprout along the lower 2/3rds of the previous year`s growths, 2` blooms are a rosy mauve with a large tubular soft primrose- yellow lip, easy grower and very fragrant.
