a fabulous compact member of this terrific genus, small vandaceous semi-pendant plant with 3" semi-terete green leaves, branching spikes up to 5" carry densely flowered racemes of 1/8" blooms, the brilliant flowers have a shocking violet purple sepals and petals in contrast to the bold white lip, absolutely stunning.

unlike any other Schoenorchis, a gorgeous plant with the best blooms in the genus, graceful wiry pendant branching stems up to 24" long, hanging needle-like (terete) 4" leaves are spaced every 3/4" along the stems, numerous 3" spikes carry dense wisteria-like spears of 1/3" blooms, the lovely flowers are bluish mauve to deep violet with a small white lip and a folded pink spur, free flowering.
Growing Tip: Keep moist. Tollerates both heat & cold
