A stunningly beautiful Brazilian species with semi clustering 3" fusiform bulbs surrounded with a hand full of foot long pretty leaves, late summer to fall blooming, upright to arching 18" spikes carry up to 6 well spaced 3" flowers that are flat and well rounded, sepals and petals are greenish yellow with a large lip that is a lovely white with a yellow callus, blooms are wonderfully scented of a floral soap.

a spectacular plant and a prolific easy grower, compressed oblong 4" pseudobulbs with twin 6" leaves are connected by 1" creeping rhizomes, flat heavily-sheathed 8" spikes emerge from the base of the bulbs, each carries a single large flat wide-open 4" flower, these long-lived blooms open simultaneously and are white often tinged with rose, large lip is purple with dark purple venation and white edges.
