an odd plant that's been bounced from Odontoglossum to Miltonia and probably deserves its own genus, flat oval 5" bulb topped with a single broad glossy 6" to 10" leaf, 30" basal branching spikes produce dozens of very colorful 2" blooms, ruffled sepals and petals range from purple to light brown with lighter tips, the large square lip has a dark purple base a broad waxy purple band and white tip, fragrant and free flowering.

Growing Tip: Moist year round, grow bright, don't remove spike.
