a beautiful and uncommon exotic orchid from the South Pacific allied to Dendrobium, round 2" to 3" bulbs which with age become covered with long bristle-like hairs, tan colored roots have a sand-paper texture, 2 or 3 glossy dark green broad 12" apical leaves, 1 to 3 arching strongly branched 18" spikes with dozens of blooms, 1" flowers have yellowish-green sepals and petals with dark red blotches, lip is dark red with yellow tip, handsome plant
