creeping miniature with 1/2` bulbs topped with 2 or 3 broad dark green or purplish leathery 1` leaves, beautiful 1` orange/red crystalline spidery flowers with an intense amethyst anther cap, blooms appear in dense clusters on leafless new growths that emerge in spring, definitely a cool breezy grower.
